Metaverse term was coined by Neal Stephenson, a sci-fi writer in 1992 to describe a 3D virtual space. During October 2021, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg officially announced the progression of the idea “The Metaverse”, which is an open world virtual reality application that allows various activities like working or even playing to coexist just like in the real world but virtually.

First of all, in the Metaverse everyone can create their own characters, just like games. Not only that, Metaverse transactions can be made for accessories and the goods can be transfer into other games, and so are the characters.
Following, geographical restrictions is not an issue for the events. For instance, running parties or virtual meeting will involve users, and they can just travel instantly to the location. Not only that, Metaverse also allows interactions which could imitate real life actions.

Moreover, to enjoy better experience, acquiring a VR headset like Oculus Rift from Reality Labs is highly recommended because it allows user to see graphical structures in front of the users virtually, creating a more interactive experience.
Alternatively, using a PC, game consoles, or even phones will allow users to link into the Metaverse.
3. Unlimited Capabilities
Conclusively, Metaverse is still a vague term and people on the Internet are still figuring out how and what the idea and realization will turn out to be. Although it started as a fictional idea, but this idea could turn into reality as the future world has limitless capabilities.
